Lacroix is back!

Today the couture shows started. One of my favorite times of the year, it's like my Christmas and that's specially when the king of haute couture is back with all his tulle things, puffy silhouttes and bows: LACROIX!

After the sad closure of the house of Christian Lacroix in 2009, he's now back to revive the House of Schiaparelli. An 18-perfect-piece collection presented in Les Arts Decoratifs with everything that made him famous and unique, full of theatrics and drama.

"It’s as if it was a musical about Schiaparelli, and I’m in charge of the costumes"

"I love that — how to be witty, spirited, elegant, Parisian, even during the war ... Colors, ribbons, whimsical hats — everything I love is coming mainly from her," said Christian.

Honestly I'm the happiest! I've always admired his work as a designer, his attention to details, embroidery, ribbons, bows, embellishment, everything! He truly is a genius and I hope he could back on business either he stays at Schiaparelli or starts as creative director for some brand.

Always & forever Lacroix
